I had to click on pic to see what it was! Very cute! And how, pray tell, did you get up there??? Never mind! Don't tell me!!! Mamas shouldn't find out these things...
Yeah, it's kinda hard to tell when it's so small. And it was too big when I would click on it, so I just re-sized it so that when you click on the image it shouldn't take up your entire monitor screen. Heehee!
There's a window that looks out onto that portion of the roof. And, well, we've been running the attic fan a bit lately and ended up removing the screen for some reason. So...Brandon has been tossing toys out on the roof. He's so fascinated with seeing his toys out there. Heehee!
I thought I saw a bulldozer but wasn't sure until I clicked the picture!! That is hilarious...even more so that he threw both a car AND keys- wath out for him, he might be planning a getaway!! LOL...
I'm so glad to hear that you've been so busy with school (I don't mean it like that...I mean...oh, nevermind)Glad to hear your almost done with school and doing so well is what I really meant!!
Glad you came across a spring cleaning tip that'd be helpful...isn't the pillowcase the simplest idea ever...I mean, why did WE never think of that until hearing about it? It just makes so much sense!!!

I hope you're able to go ~ it was an amazing experience and there are so many other things to see at the DMA as well. There is an incredible children's art section where kids can make their own art!
tee hee hee. I was gonna ask how you got the pic too - but saw mama had already asked. It reminds me of when we lived in Guam ... all of the houses there are concrete block and have flat roofs. So many balls, frisbees, and airplane type toys got stuck up on ours often (even some that shouldn't have been thrown). I think my oldest son threw some up there just so he could climb up on the roof to retrieve them.
I’m a joyful woman who wears many hats, including: wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, cousin, friend, teacher, librarian, and follower of Christ. I’m also an ex-public school teacher turned SAHM turned unschooling mom. Our little midwestern family is tremendously grateful for the liberties we have to home school, homebirth, breastfeed, co-sleep, baby wear, non-circ, delay or not vaccinate, and utilize non-punitive, grace-based discipline. We work hard to keep up with the ins and outs of healthy living. It was painful, but we took the red pill and still continue to find new truths daily. I teach just a few short-courses for the local college each year, read and write book reviews and blog on the side. And if you must know, I have an undergrad in music (BA), a masters in library science (MLS), and a masters in educational technology (MEd).

Congratulations to hubby on obtaining his Ph.D.!
My cousin's kids climbed out through a window onto the porch roof. This includes her 2 year old, so I'd be careful with that!
Cool picture though!
